Complaints about a warm phone often arrive after a push-led campaign, not during QA on cable power. We leave the agreed build in the background for a timed window, walk a fixed route past KLCC with the screen off, and compare radio wake-ups against a quiet control install.
The note lists wake locks we could observe, polling intervals that outlive the screen, and whether location permission is still held when the map is no longer visible. We do not certify battery claims for a store listing.
